Held on the sidewalks surrounding Marcus Ronnie’s Cinema, this county protest draws between 4,000 and 7,000 people. On March 28, we gather in Festus.

We will begin with a rally outside the Festus Public Library before marching together down S Mill Street to Jokerst Park for a larger community rally featuring local speakers.

This is a peaceful, community-led event. We show up because our voices matter. We rally because democracy belongs to the people — not kings.

11:30 AM – Arrival & gathering 12:00 PM – Opening rally at the library 12:20 PM – March begins 12:40 PM – Arrival at Jokesters Park 1:00 PM – Community rally & speakers 2:45 PM – Closing unity moment 3:00 PM – Event concludes

In the spirit of mutual aid, we will also be hosting a feminine hygiene product drive at No Kings III.

The NO KINGS Harrisonsville protest is hosted by Cass County Indivisible. In addition to hosting NO KINGS, Cass County Indivisible also hosts other protests across the county. Anyone who wants to fight back against the assault on our values as Americans is welcome. Learn more about Cass County Indivisible here.

For the NO KINGS protest, Cass County Indivisible encourages protesters to wear yellow, if possible, and bring family-friendly signs. Protesters will line the public sidewalk between the Wal-Mart parking lot & 291 Highway.

Finally, organizers ask that protesters NOT park in the Scooters parking lot. Those parking spots be left for their employees.
